SelfReportedTranscript (also referred to as Self-Reported Student Academic Record or SSAR, and Self-Reported Academic Record or SRAR) uses advanced technologies as part of its core mission to discover and inform. Cookie technology may be implemented at the SelfReportedTranscript Web site. At no time is private information you have given us, whether stored in cookies (persistent) or elsewhere, shared with third parties that have no right to that information. If you do not wish to have persistent cookies stored on your machine, you can turn them off in your browser. However, this may impact the functioning of the SelfReportedTranscript site.

When Reading or Downloading Web Site Information:

If you connect to SelfReportedTranscript or ScarletCS pages or services (e.g., FTP, secure FTP/SFTP, remote account login, web service APIs), the IP address and other relevant connection information from which you connected is collected.

When Registering: 

The Web site asks visitors (students) to fill out forms with their high school transcript information. Other information collected at Web site through questionnaires, feedback forms, or other means, enables us to determine visitors' interests, with the goal of providing better service to our customers.

Regardless of the information being transmitted to SelfReportedTranscript, we will protect all such information consistent with the principles of the Federal Records Act, the Privacy Act, and as applicable, the Freedom of Information Act. 


Self-Reported Transcript Web Site Security

For site security purposes and to ensure that this Web service remains available to all users, this computer system employs software programs that monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage. Anyone using this system expressly consents to such monitoring and is advised that if such monitoring reveals evidence of possible abuse or criminal activity, such evidence may be provided to appropriate law enforcement officials. Unauthorized attempts to upload or change information on SelfReportedTranscript servers are strictly prohibited and may be punishable by law, including the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act of 1986 and the National Information Infrastructure Protection Act of 1996.

* SelfReportedTranscript may delete any Content that in the sole judgment of SelfReportedTranscript violates this Terms of Use Agreement or which may be offensive, illegal or violate the rights, harm or threaten the safety of any person. SelfReportedTranscript assumes no responsibility for monitoring the SelfReportedTranscript Web site for inappropriate Content or conduct. If at any time SelfReportedTranscript chooses, in its sole discretion, to monitor the SelfReportedTranscript Web site, SelfReportedTranscript nonetheless assumes no responsibility for the Content, no obligation to modify or remove any inappropriate Content, and no responsibility for the conduct of the User submitting any such Content.
